The Truman Show

His life was all a lie. From when Truman was a baby until he was 30 he didn’t know that his whole life was fake. He was adopted from a TV show and was filmed his whole life. The Truman Show has many areas in the movie that that are very interesting like on how unrealistic it was, how the ending of the story was, and what I overall thought of the movie.

In the movie The Truman Show it seemed like it could have been a real story. But there were a few things that made turn from realistic to fake. From when Truman was a baby to the age of 30 he was filmed with 5,000 cameras around him and not once did he come a pond even one of them. That’s kind of hard to believe that not once he found one for 30 years and they were all filming him. His family and neighbors were all actors for the past 30 years and they knew it but Truman didn’t. They were not the people that Truman thought they were. Over the 30 years not one person told him that he was being filmed or that they were all acting or anything that was going on. That’s unrealistic that all of them had the patience to act for the past 30 years and not have the urge to tell Truman anything was going on.  The world that they were living in was manmade. The producer of the show could make it windy, cloudy, make it rain, snow, and had the ability to make it day and night whenever he wanted it. He was taking over Gods job but with technology. In the current time it’s impossible for our technology to create a whole new world like that. Maybe in the future, but now it is unrealistic.

I really enjoyed “The Truman Show” a lot. I think that it was very well written and produced. I was glad to see that Jim Carey could actually be serious on film and not his usual outrageous and somewhat perverted self. It's scary to think of your whole life being recorded without you being aware. I would have a hard time to believing that my whole life was fake and it was just a TV show that I was on. It would be hard to go into the real life after living in the fake world your whole life. It would be hard to know that the whole world was in on knowing that your life was a lie and you were the only one in the world that didn’t know that. The movie was real religious. In some way our life is like the show with God being the producer and everyone in heaven watching the show.

His life was a lie. How would you feel if you were in Trumans situation? The world knowing something about you that you didn’t know for your whole life. The people you thought was your friends and family all in on it.

Our life relays on technology. "Technology has been taking over the world and it would be hard for people to live without it, i would go crazy and die if i didn't have my phone." Said Brittney.

Technology rapidly changes through out time. Think of the first time you got a cell phone. Is it different then what they have now? "When i got my first phone it was only used to talk on but now i see phones that can start your car and check your fuel level in your care. Also now you can video chat on your phone." Said Dani

Do you own any type of technology? If you do what do you own and how many?

"I own a cell phone and two Ipods" replied Chase

When you think or the word technology many might think of Ipods and cell phones but technology is way more then that. look around you there are technology all around you TVs, computers, video game systems, digital video recorders. Think of space, man has been to space because of technology.

The military is made up of mostly technology. the military is not all about just trying to find people and shooting guns. How are you going to find the person? How do you know where your target is? Who do you become a strong military? All of these questions can be answered with technology? If the US Military didn't have technology they would be the worst at there job.

Technology is everywhere in all shapes and forms.
